Meet the Owner| Diana Romero

Diana is the owner and lead wedding planner of At Your Side Planning. At San Diego State University she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and her Certificate in Meeting & Event Planning. Her background in planning began in non-profit and a faith-based youth group. As she put herself through college, Diana was on a team-building committee for her department at San Diego State. In 2004, she opened her wedding planning company. Diana implements her Interior Design education into the design and draws inspiration from her world travels.

Married since 2012 to the love of her life, her and her husband are parents to their intelligent six year old son and their sweet foster daughter. In her free time, Diana works out to Body Combat, dates her husband, travels and enjoys animal sanctuaries with her family.


 Wedding Planner | Kendra Grant

Kendra has been a wedding planner and day of coordinator with At Your Side Planning since 2016. At San Diego State University, she received her BA degree in Communications and her Professional Certificate in Meeting and Event Planning.  Kendra is organized and an avid planner in all aspects of life. She has strong attention to details, communication skills, and an ability to always stay calm under pressure. Experience in the industry was acquired by interning for multiple San Diego event planning companies, coordinating friend’s weddings, and working alongside Diana. Kendra enjoys working all types of events, but what she loves most are weddings! A romantic at heart, she believes that a wedding should be the most important and beautiful day of a person’s life.

Wedding Planner | Robin Alcoba

Robin is a Wedding Planner for At Your Side Planning since 2010. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Phoenix in Business Management with an Emphasis in Hospitality and Tourism. Robin has gained experience as Sales Coordinator for Courtyard by Marriott in 2014. She also specialized in weddings and events as the Catering and Banquet Sales Manager. She offers our clients more than just planning with her love for weddings and events. Robin is a mother of three boys who keep her on her toes and has been happily married to her husband since 2015. During her free time she enjoys watching “rom coms”, since she is a hopeless romantic, or is on FaceTime with her mom or sister while folding mounds of laundry!


Assistant Wedding Planner | Ricagin Elejorde

Assistant Wedding PlannerRicagin joined At Your Side Planning after graduating from San Diego State University in 2018. She acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Integrated Marketing Communications. Ricagin has experience in customer service, public relations and event logistics. She realized her love for weddings after creating video highlights for friend’s weddings. This is when she found At Your Side Planning! Ricagin began as an intern and now is an assistant wedding planner. She loves weddings with cultural traditions. She has been with her boyfriend since the 8th grade and hopes to plan her own wedding in the future! When she’s not in wedding-mode, she enjoys watching the sunrise, singing Broadway musicals, art, exploring new cities and spending time with her family and friends!
