Bridal Party Gift Ideas

Are you having a hard time trying to decide what to buy your bridal party for their gifts given at the rehearsal dinner? Buying your bridal party gifts should be something you enjoy doing while being creative!  Spend some time thinking about each person’s personality, likes, dislikes and particulars such as if they are eco-friendly or vegan or love sports.

For the girls in your bridal party, think along the lines of beauty and accessories.  However, some will appreciate a fancy bling type lighter or pink flask much more than a pedicure set!  There are traditional options which include jewelry, jewelry boxes, purses or mirrored compacts.  For the girls who love pampering, consider a day spa gift certificate such as a one hour massage.  There are mouth watering gifts such as edible arrangements, baskets of cookies or baskets of candy.  More and more brides are creating totes for the bridal party either with a personal gift or for the wedding day.  The totes for the wedding day can include items such as flip flops, snacks, blotting sheets, mints, ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, water and so on.  Flips flops can be bought inexpensively at Old Navy. The tote can even be a reusable and eco friendly bag for the bridal party to use again after the wedding. The tote can be personal to include items such as spa items and candles.  Spa items can be bought from stores such as Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop or Victoria’s Secret.   For jewelry, items such as a bracelet and earring set, earrings alone or Tiffany’s & Co. are great.  Remember to know the quality of the jewelry.  It is better to invest a little more than purchase something that is plated, will fade, fall apart or worse, turn your girls’ skin green! Other ideas are wine glasses, movie tickets, concert tickets, gift cards to their favorite store, or a purse such as a wrist bag from Coach.  Some brides love being on the more sentimental side and creating a poem and giving it with a framed photo or a scrap book of memories with photos or a personalized album.   A very appreciated gift is to pay for the bridal party hair and makeup on the day of the wedding.

Guys like practical items.  Purchase gifts guys would love that fits their personality.  For those groomsmen who are sports fans, how about memorabilia of some sort such as an autographed photo or a blanket with their team’s logo?  For the guys who love the outdoors think along those lines of their hobby when shopping for them.  You can purchase a new tackle box or a new barbeque utensil set.   High end cufflinks and pocket knives are always a hit.   Consider accessories such as a nice keychain, money clip, pocket watch, cigar holder, cigar cutter, or classic lighter.  For the alcohol drinker items that are fun include a cocktail shaker, bottle stopper, engraved bottle opener, engraved flask, beverage holder or beer mug.  For the business man, there are business card holders, credit card holders and travel mugs.  For the guy that works out, how about a new personalized gym bag?  For the guys who are more care-free, how about an extra large beer glass or a silver yo-yo!  For those who like to travel, you can purchase nice engraved luggage tags.

The possibilities are endless.  The main goal should be to know what the person loves and to keep thoughtfulness and gratitude at the core!  If you have any questions, input or ideas, please email me!  I love hearing from brides!  Happy Wedding PlanningClick here for my main website.
