I recently went on an interior design trip to Ensenada, Mexico.  Our class went to visit the Riviera which is a building that was originally built to be a gambling hall during the Prohibition period.  Famous people such as Lucile Ball used to frequent the Riviera.  The Riviera has Spanish, Mexican and Moroccan influences throughout the building’s design.  The Riviera has a few ballrooms that can be rented out for events too!  We were able to see a lot of artifacts in the museum….some thousands of years old!  Tile from Chapultepec in Mexico city is in the building as well as design influence from Spain and Morocco.  There is so much history at this museum which is open to the pubic.  I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit the Riviera!  The bar area has paintings of the seven deadliest sins and the chandelier in the entrance is grand!  These are photos I took with my point and shoot that I wanted to share!  The trip in itself was so much fun!  After visiting the Riviera we went downtown Ensenada to eat and shop!  Ensenada is a beautiful city and if you haven’t been there, I highly recommend visiting.  Besides downtown, there are wineries with organic menus and great wine to taste!
